TERROIR
Similar to that of the neighbouring Châteauneuf du Pape vineyard, consisting of pudding stones on the surface, which store the heat from the sun during the day and transfer it to the vines at night and red clay sub-soil.

Grenache: 60%, Syrah: 40%

VINIFICATION / MATURATION
Traditional vinification in stainless-steel tanks; 15 days’ vatting, on average; 12 months’ maturation in concrete tanks.

CHARACTER
Characterised by intense aromas of red fruit and liquorice, this Côtes du Rhône Villages combines the freshness of Côtes du Rhône and the structure of Châteauneuf du Pape.

ACCOMPANIMENT
Both fruity and robust, this wine will accompany perfectly grilled and roasted meat, seasoned with some herbs of Provence which will bring out its aromas, redolent of the garrigue.
