Similar to that of the neighbouring Châteauneuf du Pape vineyard, consisting of pudding stones on the surface, which store the heat from the sun during the day and transfer it to the vines at night.

GRAPE VARIETIES
Grenache: 50%; Syrah: 20%; Cinsault: 20%; Carignan: 10%

VINIFICATION / AGING
Half of the blend is obtained by pressing the grapes directly, as soon as they arrive at the winery; the other half by drawing off juice from the vat (saignée) after 15 hours of maceration.

CHARACTER
Intensely-coloured. The nose is dominated by red fruit, particularly raspberry. The palate is rich and well-balanced.

ACCOMPANIMENT
A wine to be drunk young and fresh; a very good accompaniment for summer salads, charcuterie and grilled food.
